What is a predictive algorithm?
Predictive algorithms use one of two things: machine learning or deep learning. Both are subfields of artificial intelligence (AI). Machine learning (ML) deals with structured data, such as spreadsheets or machine data. Deep learning (DL) deals with unstructured data, such as video, audio, text, social media posts, and images – essentially, the things that people communicate with that aren’t numbers or metric values.
