Perform incoming goods inspection digitally and document defects immediately

Anyone who carries out incoming goods inspections using Excel lists or printed forms struggles with outdated versions, illegible entries and a lack of overview in the event of deviations. With Testify, test criteria are created once in the checklist designer and then automatically generated as a test order based on the article, supplier or delivery bill. Test objects and product groups are mapped hierarchically so that each article has its own test standard. Via the ERP connection, for example SAP, checklists can be created fully automatically from the ordering process and assigned to the responsible employees.

During delivery, warehouse employees work directly in the Testify app on a tablet or smartphone, even without an active internet connection. Inspection criteria such as quantity, condition, packaging and labeling are processed step by step. If the inspector detects a deviation, a defect is created directly during the check, marked with a photo, severity and defect category and immediately forwarded to the responsible buyer. There is no media disruption, no subsequent recording on the PC and no risk that defects can no longer be traced afterwards.

A detected defect in incoming goods must result in a complaint quickly and traceably. Testify automatically assigns defects to the responsible persons in Purchasing or Quality Assurance and notifies them by email and push. The defect timeline documents every step from recording to rectification, with time stamps and responsibilities. This creates a reliable basis for supplier discussions and external audits, without the hassle of searching through emails and photos.

After each completed incoming goods inspection, Testify automatically creates an audit-proof inspection report as a PDF. In the integrated reporting, purchasing and quality management can see at a glance which suppliers repeatedly cause deviations, how the defect rate develops over time and where there is a need for action. Pareto analyses and trends enable a data-based supplier evaluation. For more in-depth evaluations, the data can be transferred directly to Power BI or the existing ERP system.
