Open the checklist using a QR code or NFC
The most time-consuming part of an inspection is often the search: Which checklist applies to this piece of equipment, which version, and where is it located? With the Testify app, that’s no longer an issue. Simply scan the code on the item being inspected, and the app opens the applicable checklist in the current revision. Those who prefer to start with the task list will see everything that’s due today, sorted by due date.
Run checks, even without an internet connection
Each check has its own type: measurement, selection, photo, calculation, date, or signature. For numerical checks, the tolerance is predefined, and the app reports any deviation immediately—not just when someone opens the report in the evening. In warehouses, basements, and in the field, the app works completely offline and automatically syncs data as soon as a connection is reestablished.
Record and Assign Defects
If a test is marked as “not OK,” the defect is automatically generated from that result—linked to the test object, batch, and test. In the photo editor, the specific location can be marked so that the person in charge doesn’t have to guess what the issue is. The category, severity, and deadline are determined immediately, and the task is assigned to a person or a team.
Complete the transaction in accordance with the dual-control principle
The final step is approval. The checklist can be forwarded to the next level for review, and the signature links the reviewer, the date, and the result. After that, the review is locked: Anyone who makes changes later creates a new revision instead of overwriting the old one. This is exactly what makes the documentation reliable in an audit.
The test report is generated automatically
As soon as the checklist is completed, Testify generates the inspection report as a PDF—including results, photos, recorded defects, a signature, and a timestamp. No one has to type anything out. The report can be exported individually or as a consolidated PDF covering a specific time period and transferred via the interface to the document management system, the ERP system, or Power BI.
