The Testify MCP Server makes your data usable for your AI

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that enables AI assistants to communicate securely with software. The Testify MCP Server makes your test, audit, and defect data available to your AI assistant—allowing it to read and act on the data without you having to click through menus or write any code.

Quick Start Guide

MCP works with all compatible AI assistants. Simply connect it, digitize your checklists via chat, and get started.

No programming

Connect once, and you're done. No development project, no middleware required to get started.

Your rights apply

The MCP server respects your role and group system. The AI only sees and does what the respective user is allowed to do.

Use cases

In the future, you'll be able to do this by asking a question

Instead of setting filters and searching through dashboards, simply ask your AI assistant or give it tasks. Here are a few examples from everyday life:

"Turn these work instructions into a checklist."

The AI designs the template with the appropriate test types and structure—you review and publish it.

"Show me all the open defects from Plant 2 this week."

Your AI lists the deviations along with their status, the person responsible, and the due date—directly from the deviation search.

"Summarize the audit results for Line 3 from the last quarter."

The AI retrieves the completed reports and provides a concise summary, including any notable findings.

"Assign the outstanding defects in Hall 5 to the Maintenance Team; due Friday."

The AI sets up the assignment—within the scope of your permissions—and logs every change in an audit-proof manner.

"Which inspections are overdue today—and who is responsible?"

Its AI analyzes the task list and displays due dates, items to be reviewed, and the people responsible.

"Which suppliers had the most discrepancies last quarter?"

The AI analyzes the deviations for each supplier and highlights clusters and trends.

For whom

For Key Users and Decision-Makers

One standard, all assistants: Connect Testify to the AI tool you're using and roll it out company-wide.

Key User

Create templates, assign checklists, or track open issues. All with a simple question in your chosen chat tool.

Decision-makers

Key metrics and analyses for all assets under review, available on demand. Full governance, no tool sprawl.

No matter which AI tool you're using, or whether different departments are already using different tools—Testify can be seamlessly integrated via the MCP server.

Why It's Worth It

Fewer clicks. More answers.

No new tool

Your team works with the AI they already use. No additional interface, no training.

Answers in seconds

Reports and status updates on demand—no need to click through endless filters and reports.

Across all locations

Key metrics for all plants and locations at the click of a button—for decision-makers, without having to go through IT.

Secure and GDPR-compliant

EU Hosting: Your roles and groups are enforced, and every action is logged in an audit-proof manner.

Connected in minutes

An open standard instead of an integration project. Set it up once, and it's ready to use right away.

Future-proof

Testify becomes part of your AI workflows and automations—rather than remaining a data silo.

Secure by Design

AI access that respects your governance

The MCP server is not a backdoor that circumvents your rules. It builds directly on what Testify already does securely.

Hosting in the EU. Microsoft Azure (Netherlands/Ireland), GDPR-compliant, including a data processing agreement.

Your permissions are in effect. The MCP server adheres to the role- and group-based system—each user can only see and do what they are authorized to do.

Encrypted. TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest. SSO-compatible (OIDC).

Proven maturity. CyberVadis score: 876/1000 (MATURE), well above the industry average.

Introduction & Rollout

Your Implementation Project:
—Reach Your Goals Faster with AI

The MCP server not only streamlines your day-to-day work, but also speeds up your implementation project—from template creation through rollout to production.

1

Setup: Less Tedious Work

Use AI to create inspection checklists from your work instructions, Excel files, or PDF documents: You review and publish them. This shortens the most time-consuming phase of the project.

2

Rollout: Greater Acceptance

Your key users work within the AI they already use. The AI answers questions about status, tasks, and configuration directly. Fewer follow-up questions, fewer support loops.

3

Operations: Get up and running quickly

Analyses, issues, and reports are available from day one with just a few clicks. The benefits are immediately apparent rather than only after months—your time to value is reduced.

This turns a traditional software rollout into a project that delivers results faster and is embraced right from the start.

Good to Know

Still have questions? We've summarized the most important answers about the MCP server here.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that enables AI assistants to communicate securely with software. The Testify MCP server makes your test, audit, and defect data accessible to your AI assistant—both for reading and taking action. This allows your AI to answer questions about your data, generate reports, and trigger actions without having to click through endless menus. Learn more here.

All MCP-compatible assistants, including Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini. Since MCP is an open standard, the list is constantly growing—you aren’t locked into a single provider.

No. The MCP server is configured once in the AI Wizard, and after that, you work using natural language. No development project, no middleware required to get started.

For example, you can view open defects, display overdue orders and responsibilities, summarize audit results, evaluate supplier quality, or create inspection checklists from documents. And you can trigger actions, such as assigning defects—within the scope of your permissions.

Yes. Hosting in the EU (Microsoft Azure), encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), as well as SSO support (OIDC, SAML 2.0). Access is managed in accordance with your existing role and group system.

No. The MCP server is based entirely on your permissions. Through the AI, each user can only see and do what they are authorized to do in Testify.

No. The MCP server only makes your data available for the specific request. What the AI provider does with the prompts is governed by your contract with that provider—the data remains with Testify in the EU.

No. It adds AI capabilities to Testify. The app, web, and mobile versions remain unchanged.

The launch is scheduled for Q4 2026 (October). We will announce the terms and conditions at launch. Sign up for notifications, and we’ll be the first to let you know.

You’ll need an MCP-compatible AI assistant and Testify access with the appropriate permissions. The connection is set up once, and after that, the assistant is ready to use.
