The Testify MCP Server: Your test data now speaks AI.
Connect Testify to Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and other AI assistants. Retrieve analytics, create reports, and trigger tasks—all in natural language, without any coding.
The Testify MCP Server makes your data usable for your AI
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that enables AI assistants to communicate securely with software. The Testify MCP Server makes your test, audit, and defect data available to your AI assistant—allowing it to read and act on the data without you having to click through menus or write any code.
In the future, you'll be able to do this by asking a question
Instead of setting filters and searching through dashboards, simply ask your AI assistant or give it tasks. Here are a few examples from everyday life:
"Turn these work instructions into a checklist."
The AI designs the template with the appropriate test types and structure—you review and publish it.
"Show me all the open defects from Plant 2 this week."
Your AI lists the deviations along with their status, the person responsible, and the due date—directly from the deviation search.
"Summarize the audit results for Line 3 from the last quarter."
The AI retrieves the completed reports and provides a concise summary, including any notable findings.
"Assign the outstanding defects in Hall 5 to the Maintenance Team; due Friday."
The AI sets up the assignment—within the scope of your permissions—and logs every change in an audit-proof manner.
"Which inspections are overdue today—and who is responsible?"
Its AI analyzes the task list and displays due dates, items to be reviewed, and the people responsible.
"Which suppliers had the most discrepancies last quarter?"
The AI analyzes the deviations for each supplier and highlights clusters and trends.

The MCP server not only streamlines your day-to-day work, but also speeds up your implementation project—from template creation through rollout to production.
This turns a traditional software rollout into a project that delivers results faster and is embraced right from the start.
Good to Know
Still have questions? We've summarized the most important answers about the MCP server here.
What is the Testify MCP Server?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that enables AI assistants to communicate securely with software. The Testify MCP server makes your test, audit, and defect data accessible to your AI assistant—both for reading and taking action. This allows your AI to answer questions about your data, generate reports, and trigger actions without having to click through endless menus. Learn more here.
Which AI assistants are supported?
All MCP-compatible assistants, including Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini. Since MCP is an open standard, the list is constantly growing—you aren’t locked into a single provider.
Do I have to write code for that?
No. The MCP server is configured once in the AI Wizard, and after that, you work using natural language. No development project, no middleware required to get started.
What exactly can I do with it?
For example, you can view open defects, display overdue orders and responsibilities, summarize audit results, evaluate supplier quality, or create inspection checklists from documents. And you can trigger actions, such as assigning defects—within the scope of your permissions.
Is the access secure?
Yes. Hosting in the EU (Microsoft Azure), encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), as well as SSO support (OIDC, SAML 2.0). Access is managed in accordance with your existing role and group system.
Does the AI see more than the user is allowed to?
No. The MCP server is based entirely on your permissions. Through the AI, each user can only see and do what they are authorized to do in Testify.
Will my data be used to train the AI?
No. The MCP server only makes your data available for the specific request. What the AI provider does with the prompts is governed by your contract with that provider—the data remains with Testify in the EU.
Does the MCP server replace the Testify app?
No. It adds AI capabilities to Testify. The app, web, and mobile versions remain unchanged.
How much does the MCP server cost, and when will it be available?
The launch is scheduled for Q4 2026 (October). We will announce the terms and conditions at launch. Sign up for notifications, and we’ll be the first to let you know.
Do I need any technical requirements in place at my company?
You’ll need an MCP-compatible AI assistant and Testify access with the appropriate permissions. The connection is set up once, and after that, the assistant is ready to use.
