This month, we are pleased to introduce a new key feature that significantly expands our digitalization toolkit: the External Data Check as a wonderful addition to manually recorded data.
Integration of external data sources such as sensors as measuring devices via plug & play connectivity
With the help of the External Data Check, you can now create external sensor data or other third-party systems as measuring equipment and automatically transfer the recorded data to the checklist as a check result.
There are no limits to what you can do. Using Testify’s plug & play principle, you can connect any data sources such as sensor data, machine and device data and much more and automatically transfer measured values to checklists. The prerequisite for this is that the data is made available online via an API.
Data is exchanged in real time using standardized interfaces via Rest. Using the push/pull principle, data can be integrated into Testify as well as sent to the respective third-party system.
In combination with the integration of third-party systems, which are connected via Rest API or webhooks, Testify acts as an intuitive tool for seamless data collection that can be easily operated by employees.
Where and how can the External Data Check be used?
- Measure condition values such as temperature, brightness, humidity or noise, which are evaluated as part of workplace inspections
- Consumption values such as gas, electricity, water to monitor energy consumption
- Frequency counts such as the number of movements, e.g. for test benches
- Read out technical faults or leaks
- Operating meters such as switch-ons for evaluating the life cycle of systems
- Measurement of CO2 levels in offices or factory halls for better health protection
