What does the Food Safety and Consumer Protection Act regulate?

Legal requirements for food contact materials in Austria are regulated in the Food Safety and Consumer Protection Act (LMSVG ). It applies to all stages of production, processing and distribution and regulates the requirements for food, water for human consumption, consumer goods and cosmetic products and the associated responsibilities of business operators.
