The ‘Custom PDF test report’ function offers the possibility to display all your test reports created in Testify in your company’s corporate design.
In this guide, we provide tips on how you can create your own customized test report design. And provide templates for download.
In Testify, a PDF report can be created at the end of each test at the touch of a button. Here you have the option of configuring your test reports: You can store a stationery of your choice for the cover page as well as for subsequent pages for your test reports. All in the style of your corporate design with your logo and colors.
With a personalized inspection report design, you ensure a professional appearance with suppliers, customers and other external partners.

You can read more about the “Configurable background images for PDF test reports” feature here . (This is of course an optional function. If you do not wish to store your own stationery design, the test reports are output in the standard design).
Customizing of test reports
To ensure that your PDF report shines in line with your corporate design, a background image of your choice is inserted in Testify. To help you create this background design, we have put together a few design tips and a template here.
The area marked green in the template can be designed as you wish.
We recommend that you place your logo in the header at the top right.
There are usually custom text fields in the header on the left (and in the middle). However, if you decide to omit the text in the middle of the header, you can also use the space in your report design instead.

The margins on the left and/or right are perfect for setting accents. For example, a stripe in the company color and/or the company slogan.

The area below the footer is ideal for including additional information. We recommend: the URL of your website, contact details, social media buttons and/or your company address.

The PDF test reports are in A4 format.
Cover page:
For the most part, the cover page and following pages are very similar in terms of design space. The only difference is that the design space at the top of the cover page is slightly larger. (We therefore provide an extra template for the cover page for download).
You are free to decide whether the cover page and following pages in your test report should be different or identical. Our recommendation here is to make the design of the cover page and following pages almost identical. And only display the logo in the header on the cover page slightly larger.
