What is No Code?

Developing software without ever having learned to program? Not possible? Wrong. Because this is exactly where the topic of “no code” comes in. To put it simply, this term has revolutionized IT, as it enables non-specialists to develop simple applications. With this solution, the programming language in particular is no longer needed, or only needed to a limited extent. Instead, so-called “drag-and-drop tools” enable a simple and intuitive application for users. However, it is important to note that coding and a programming language are used in the application, it is just not visible to the creators. The drag-and-drop actions are converted into a programming language by a program in the background, which enables intuitive and visual software development.

What is low code?

Low code is also a simplification of the programming process. With the help of a modular principle, it is possible for users to create software without much prior knowledge. Graphical modeling methods and visual application designs are used to make handling clear and intuitive. With the help of low code, bottlenecks in workflows can be minimized and non-specialists can create application developments independently.

Low Code VS No Code:

So what is the difference between Low Code and No Code? Basically, the answer is in the two names themselves. “Low” means “little” and “no” stands for “no”. Low code thus implements a low need for development knowledge and programming language, although a small amount of basic programming knowledge is still required. With No Code, on the other hand, absolutely no programming knowledge is required to create application developments. The drag-and-drop tool is particularly important here, which makes it easy for users to design.

It can therefore be said that Low Code translates 90% of developer work and No Code 100%. These two tools therefore help to ease the demand for developers and give companies the opportunity to create their own applications to a certain extent.
