What does ISO 9000 ff regulate?

The ISO 9000 ff series of standards documents the principles for QM measures. The EN ISO 9000:2000 ff standards have a process-oriented structure. The predecessor standards ISO 9000:1994 ff defined 20 elements of QM, which corresponded to the standard processes of the manufacturing industry from development to production and assembly to customer service, so that the structure of the predecessor standard made it difficult to transfer to service companies, for example, as there were no analogous process designations.
