Integrated management system

An integrated management system (IMS) is software for managing and optimising company processes, resources and services in various areas. It combines quality management, environmental management, health and safety management and information security management. The IMS facilitates the coordination, integration and harmonisation of management processes across different departments and functions. The aim is to improve efficiency, comply with legal regulations, reduce duplication of work and promote a holistic management approach. Key components of an IMS include the documentation of policies and procedures, risk management tools and functions for monitoring and measuring performance, including audit functions.
