What does incoming goods inspection mean?
The incoming goods inspection is in the context of the procurement logistics a quality control, which examines the supplied goods before the accounting as incoming goods. In the course of the incoming goods inspection all ordered materials and goods are examined for the conformity with the goods accompanying documents regarding quantity, quality, origin and the goods transport.
