What is EFQM Assessment?
EFQM Assessment describes the certification process according to the EFQM model. The best known quality management models are the EFQM model (European Foundation for Quality Management model) and ISO 9001, both of which have intersections in process orientation. The EFQM also allows certification by assessors. Ultimately, only the term is different here. For the EFQM certificate external assessors come in, for the ISO certificate auditors. Basically, the EFQM certificate is more comprehensive, as it places more emphasis on process orientation than the ISO certificate, which only introduced process orientation in 2000.
