What is EFQM Assessment?

EFQM Assessment describes the certification process according to the EFQM model. The best-known quality management models are the EFQM model(European Foundation for Quality Management model) and ISO 9001, both of which overlap in terms of process orientation. The EFQM also enables certification by assessors. Ultimately, the only difference here is the term. External assessors are used for the EFQM certificate and auditors for the ISO certificate. In principle, the EFQM certificate is more comprehensive, as it places more emphasis on process orientation than the ISO certificate, which only introduced process orientation in 2000.
