What is a Device History Protocol (DHP)?

DHP describes a common requirement in the field of medical technology (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA, etc.) and other industries for the documentation of the entire production process including all installed components. For each finished product, a complete documentation of the entire production process for all installed parts and components must be supplied. This leads to the need to define a documentation standard together with suppliers and partners in the production and assembly process and to supply corresponding DHR protocols with the delivery of components.
