After a 2-year break due to the coronavirus, our two managing directors Jakob Öschlberger & Sebastian Spindler were able to accept the invitation from our customer Evonik to the Ruhr region.
The right location for our on-site visit was quickly found; the Marl Chemical Park, one of the largest industrial parks in Germany and one of the first Evonik plants to use Testify.
The advantages of the no-code principle were quickly recognized.
In addition to getting to know other project partners in the Testify ecosystem at Evonik, the focus was on continuing the successful collaboration. To this end, we reviewed the last 4 years since the start of the Testify project at Evonik and were extremely impressed by the facts presented by Evonik.
The fact that it is now being used in 7 countries and 14 international locations with numerous operations is probably the best indicator that Evonik has recognized the advantages of the digitalization toolkit and has taken advantage of them accordingly. In addition, we gained exciting insights into individual success factors for this rapid scaling in the company, such as specially developed Testify configurators for rapid connection to SAP, Sharepoint or Aspentech.

Plant tours fully digitally documented.
However, as we at Testify are not fans of meeting rooms but, like our tool, prefer to create added value on site, the highlight was a guided tour of a fine chemicals plant. The highlight was, of course, the digital documentation of the plant inspection by the shift supervisor using Testify.
It is precisely this connection to the end user that gives us an insight into the intuitive use of our platform. We are particularly pleased with the positive feedback on detailed features that can be configured by the department without any programming effort and then enable the necessary added value and, even more importantly, broad acceptance.

This is where we at Testify also see the decisive success factor, namely customer proximity, understanding the challenges on the store floor and a joint solution-oriented approach with a generalization of relevant customer features/extensions.
