What does test data evaluation mean?

The term inspection data evaluation comes from production metrology. It refers to the product-oriented “classic quality inspection” (inspection planning => inspection data acquisition => inspection data evaluation). Production metrology is the generic term for all activities associated with measuring and testing tasks that have to be performed during the industrial manufacturing process of a product.
