The Connected Worker Platform for Quality, Maintenance, and Audits
What is a connected worker platform?
A connected worker platform connects production workers with their facility’s machines, processes, and IT systems. Instead of documenting inspections on paper and later transferring the results to other systems, they are digitally recorded right where the work is taking place and are immediately available to all relevant systems.
Typical components include a mobile app for on-site data collection, a modular system for configuring workflows without programming, automations for recurring tasks, interfaces to ERP and document management systems, and cross-site analyses. The benefit lies less in the individual inspection step than in the end-to-end process: A deviation automatically generates a defect, which in turn generates a task, and both are transparently recorded in the analysis and the inspection report.
In regulated environments, this is primarily a matter of maintaining records. Standards such as IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 require documented, traceable inspection processes with clear responsibilities and a complete audit trail. A connected worker platform provides this documentation as a byproduct of daily work, rather than requiring it to be gathered together before an audit.
Automate processes instead of tracking them
The effort involved in inspection processes rarely lies in the inspection itself, but rather in the surrounding tasks: sending reminders, assigning tasks, following up, and escalating issues. In Testify, these steps are defined as rules. A “not OK” result identifies the defect, assigns it to the responsible team with a deadline, reports the batch to the ERP system, and escalates the issue to shift management if the deadline is missed. Recurring inspections are automatically scheduled, and inspection deadlines trigger notifications on their own.
Integrate with ERP, DMS, and analytics tools
A platform that operates alongside the existing system landscape creates new silos. Testify integrates via REST API and webhooks: product master data and batches come from the ERP, test reports are automatically sent to the document management system, and defect data flows to Power BI. Events such as “Inspection completed” or “Defect created” can be sent as webhooks to any target system. Login via MS Entra ID single sign-on.
Making Locations Comparable
As soon as multiple plants use the same inspection processes, the key question is no longer “How did the inspection go?” but “Why are results worse at one location?” Because all inspections are recorded in a structured manner, first-pass rates, defect categories, and processing times can be compared across sites and clients. Trend analyses, Pareto charts, and quality control charts are available without the need for Excel.
Retrieve data by query via the MCP server
Starting now, Testify can connect to Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and other AI assistants via the MCP server. Retrieve evaluations, assign defects, summarize reports—all in natural language, without programming and without needing a new tool. Existing roles and permissions remain unchanged: The assistant can only see what the person asking the question is already authorized to see.
What Makes the Checklist a Form of Documentation
What customers say about using our checklist app.

For me, a big factor in why we rely on Testify is that I need a system that I can implement on site. Without hiring new people, without additional IT staff.

There has always been a gap between our vision of quality excellence and turning that vision into reality. Testify has bridged that gap and helped us turn production employees into quality employees.

The use of Testify has changed the general way we work, we work faster and more efficiently because we have a better overview and all data can be reused elsewhere without media discontinuity!
