What does Smart Factory mean?
The German government’s high-tech strategy includes the Smart Factory in the area of manufacturing technology as part of the future project Industry 4.0. Smart Factory refers to the vision of a production environment networked by IoT / IIoT in which manufacturing plants and logistics systems largely organize themselves without human intervention.
