Quality management system

A quality management system (QMS) is used to ensure that products and services continuously meet customer requirements and quality standards. It includes activities such as quality planning, quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement. The main objective is to increase customer satisfaction, improve product and service quality, increase operational efficiency and promote continuous improvement. Components include documentation of processes, performance monitoring, corrective and preventive actions and training. Overall, a QMS aims to develop a systematic approach to quality management and to promote consistency, reliability and excellence in organisational processes and activities.
