What does House of Quality mean?
House of Quality is the name for the working matrix of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD). With the help of the House of Quality, an analysis and weighting of customer requirements is carried out in order to develop a complete specification. QFD (quality function deployment) was developed in the course of the Toyota production system in Japan.
