What is the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF)?

The National Sanitation Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes public health safety and environmental protection. Among other things, it recognizes kitchen appliances that are not harmful to health when used with food, water or air. The performance of the product, the design, the flawless construction and the safety of the material are also tested.
