Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a QM model that describes the quality of system and software development on the basis of maturity levels. CMMI is the successor to the Capability Maturity Model and can be presented in capability levels or maturity levels. The same content is structured differently. The maturity levels can also be assigned to process areas.
